[Custom Map] Transmission

"The Guards have taken control of a TV station and are attempting to transmit their anti-intruder propaganda! Infiltrate the station, retrieve the propaganda and get to the ex-filtration point!"

  • Textures
  • Fix proportion issues

Looks good 8-)

On my map, I'm just using materials with flat colours instead of fully texturing it to begin with... After I get everything else done, then I'll think about textures. I think most people are willing to play untextured maps at the moment, as long as they're fun!

Textures are really helpful for players to blend in with the environment, it's super hard to hide around flat colored stuff. I think you should consider texturing or at least coloring the exterior to somewhat darker colors to increase the stealth factor.

Looks good, but the whole building is floating off the ground.

I had a lot of fun trying out this map. I believe I was playing v1.1, but I still feel that the map is pretty intruder-sided. One thing that could help is if you make the intruder's sniper rifle harder to get to. Either that, or give the guards a sniper rifle that's as easy to access as the intruder's. In some cases, the guards can't even get to the packages to set up traps without being sniped right off the bat.

This looks good. Have you worked on the insides yet? Will there be multiple tunnels underneath the building?
